The Ocotillo Suite

We now have a premium room! We named it The Ocotillo Suite.

The room upgrades include:

  • Larger Flat Panel TV

  • Super quite mini-split AC unit (no more window unit)

  • New tile on the bathroom & shower floors

  • New retro-style refrigerator and microwave

  • Private patio

You can see a small portion of the private patio wall from the window in the picture below.

Probably the coolest feature is the private patio with an outdoor cowboy tub. The cowboy tub rocks! It's even plumbed to the hot and cold water. When the tub is drained, it will water a couple of trees we plan to plant later this year. Oh… and we have a T-Rex (from Z-Bar) now!

At night time, you can turn off the patio lights and do some stargazing. The patio walls help block the lights from the motel and the Stripes across the street.

We still need to install a decorative gate at the patio entrance for additional privacy. And we will be installing a door directly from the room entering onto the patio. But in the meantime, we have started to rent it out. It’s available to reserve on our website if you're interested!
